Organisation of conferences and study days (Art)
Coming soon. Co-organiser of a week of transdisciplinary reflection with physicist Benoît Roman on Animated Matter, in May 2021. A whole week in isolation for twelve internationally renowned researchers at the Fondation des Treilles, a place that encourages dialogue between creators and researchers. The expected outcome of the week will be the creation of a physical object, an international symposium and perhaps a book or exhibition.

Responsive Matter, art&science colloquium, Centre Pompidou, Paris, organised with Marie-Ange Brayer, Samuel Bianchini and Emanuele Quinz. 3D printing is reviving the relationship between matter and form, where matter only makes sense when it is informed and must be forgotten. But what about these new active, reactive and adaptive materials?
Jan.2017-Jan.2019. Life at work. Exploring the potential of bioart and biodesign, an active member with Ludovic Jullien and Lia Giraud of the programme directed by Perig Pitrou, supported by PSL. This project brings together players from various PSL institutions (art and design schools, natural science and humanities and social science laboratories) to explore the potential represented by the transfer of biotechnologies into artistic, craft and industrial practices developing in the fields of bioart and biodesign.
20-21 Sept. 2016. The FOLD, EnsAD-ESPCI-Humboldt University-MPI Podsdam Colloquium. Co-organiser with Benoît Roman (ESPCI, Paris), Michael Friedman (Humboldt University) and Peter Fratzl (dir. Du Max Plack Institute of Colloids and interfaces). The aim of the colloquium was to bring together two different disciplines: mechanics and morphogenesis of (bio)materials on the one hand, and philosophy on the other.
June. 2009-Feb. 2010. Changer de peau (Changing skin): Organisation of two events enabling artist-scientist pairs to be formed, exchanges to be set up (each putting themselves in the other's shoes), and a feedback session. Organised with Paris 8 and ESPCI, Paris.
