But not to read the future: only appear to mask the transparency the luminous spectra of our encounters in the past. The silhouettes are sketched out: it's up to everyone to project people they know onto them. After the performance is over, water vapor continues to saturate the air. The surfaces are charged in drops which flow. Previously very sharp designs quickly degrade. Then disappear. Only the drops remain on the walls, which have regained their rights and can be assembled at will. The magical, fleeting moment has passed. Everything went back to the water.

Color Metal

Soup boiling in the background. Time stands still for a moment. The weather is fine. Black night and white ahead; white slowly settles and thickens. Soft shapes, a little farther away, motionless at first, then slowly passing close to her, illuminating the glass for a few moments over its entire surface, then disappearing into a cold, viscous black. Slowly, first at the front, then suddenly over the whole surface again, another light joins the night, and it's black. A moment. Again, full light, then stretching, then nothing. Interval. Time is swept away by the sound of windscreen wipers, dragging and tiring. The diffuse halo of a window stabilizes. A pause that lengthens and stares at the lights. Time thickens. The red of the light multiplies and marks the drops with an indecisive but precise point. Concentric circles overlap. A drop on the windscreen struggles to find its way down, fighting against the force of the glass. Around it: the others, metal-colored, try to join. The hair against the glass erases a little and opens onto blackness. The rain is falling. The weight of the drops becomes harder and harder. It's strange, now you can't see the banks. The water expands. Metal-gray color thickens on the surface. An insect bounces under the drops. Something on the leaves that float on the surface, constantly tiring them. Under the leaves, the stems of hydrophilic plants unfurl - Hydrophilic refers to a plant that is fertilized by pollen carried by water. Underwater, hydrophilic flowers let the current love them. Carried away. The strongest has passed. For a while. Slowly, then nothing. Precise drops flow. The leaves lose their momentum, the water vapor stretches, then settles. She continues with her finger the drawing on the mist of the mirror and sees herself in lines through the tracing that she redoes, the same, just: her finger is a little thicker, the same as the one she made when she was a child, just: her line is less imprecise, too sure, the features of her face, that she sees in lines in the mirror, her features are heavier than before. She sits in the back. She no longer sees the endless street, but evanescent apparitions that drift by slowly, stretch out and then disappear abruptly. She puts her finger on the glass, erases a little to see if she recognizes anyone. She sees that she can't see anything; it's dark. A drop has marked the spot. The drawer isn't easy to open, it's very wide and she has to step back, pull in her stomach, to make room for it. Inside are the treasures of the kitchen: rubber bands, corks, utensils with bright red handles that cut and grate, bought at the market stall. Lots of toothpicks have crept in everywhere and are tumbling out. The boiling soup continues to boil. The windows, now white, protect her. She reflects, and finally takes out the corkscrew, a flat knife and a small fork with detuned tines. She arranges them on the table, and begins her story.

Installation Performance, 2013 Dominique Peysson and Hsinli Wang Following the series of works “Les Limbes” by Hsinli Wang.
